I am 18 working construction and moderating for a server named LARPC
I’m love roleplay and I have been actively working in LARPC for a while. I also work as an administrator and as part of the Department Coordination Team (DCT).”
I'm Justin: Developer, Staff Member, Department Coordinator.
Infernal Affairs & Department Coordination Team @ Los Angeles Roleplay Community: In my role as Assistant Department Coordinator, I've also developed a Discord bot using Python to enhance department processes, which include links to ER:LC. Alongside that, within my career in departments, I've set up an EMS department from scratch with two others and have led that department and DHS (Homeland Security) as the director or chief for multiple months.
Discord Bot Developer (Python): open for new projects. (Portfolio is under 'website').
Former Moderator @ QLDRP
Overall I'm not the type of person to just be professional 24/7 in Discord, and when it's needed, I'm definitely professional, but here and there I'm a bit silly in-game mostly, but I try to be as professional as possible when it's required or expected.

I really want to like this server, and I’ve supported it for a while, but the roleplay quality just isn’t there. Every session seems to turn into chaos — nonstop shootouts, unrealistic situations, and barely any real roleplay happening. Whether you’re PD, Fire, or DOT, it’s hard to actually enjoy what you’re doing because things fall apart so quickly.
When I try to do roadwork as DOT, people drive straight through cones, ignore setups, crash into everything, or even run you over. As PD, it’s no better — most traffic stops end in a pursuit or shootout within a minute. Even as a civilian, you can’t really have a calm or realistic interaction without something going wrong.
It’s also frustrating that rule-breaking happens so often that I pretty much have to record almost every session just in case. I’m not constantly on edge or anything, but it gets tiring knowing someone’s bound to mess things up every time I join.
Another issue is that the server feels mostly active during European and Asian hours. During Western American time zones, barely anyone joins, which makes things super quiet and empty. It’s not a staff problem — it’s just that there aren’t enough players from those regions to keep things going. Expanding the player base to cover those time zones would help a ton.
And while I still support the server, it sometimes feels more focused on money than improving the experience. Some perks are really overpriced for what you get, and the SHR team doesn’t seem very active — tickets and suggestions often sit for ages without a reply. It ends up feeling like community feedback doesn’t really matter.
This place could be something special with better RP standards, more active leadership, and more balanced time zone coverage. But right now, it’s more frustrating than fun.
For now its gonna be 2 stars.
When I first joined the server was honestly 5 stars. Roleplay is great, activity great, everything was great. But nowadays, I get RDMed everywhere I go, moderation that's enforced is kind of terrible, FRP is everywhere, mass RDMs, mass VDMs, everyone driving with 100+ speed and people respawning when EMS is online, so many bad stuff. Additionally IA and MGMT at this point don't even read suggestions. It's been a week since I posted my suggestion, lots of unrealistic stuff and divisions similar to the review, like for example RIG.
This place offers multiple ways to roleplay such as civilian jobs, CHP, DHS, LASD, LAPD, LAFD, LA-EMS. However, there is one down side, the guy called dario very much enjoys the fact there are children in here
Sheriff team abuses their power and fail to roleplay, calling in 7 helicopters after someone has already died in a pursuit, moderators not responding to calls for nearly 30 minutes while two of them are on the same scene, moderation extremely unprofessional when asked for help, simply stating :shrugs: their fault.
The server has awesome roleplays, but. When it comes to moderators handlings scenes, I feel like. They could be doing a better job, except the administrators and higher ups. They are really awesome, I am not saying every moderator is bad, but most of them. Sometimes, I see them handling calls and treating them unfairly. Overall, I rate this a 4 stars, the - 1 star was for the poor moderating that happend.
TL;DR: Server has horrible roleplays, horrible members and an incompetent management team.
Whole reasoning will be posted in Discord thread in LARPC server below ˇˇˇˇ
Most of the higher staff
Like managers high ranks internal affairs are really bad they should be trained for the high rank most of them power trip every bit of their power like example responding well not on duty healing themselves not on duty to arrest someone killing someone with commands while off duty it’s just really not realistic The server is ruined by eight-year-olds who just Power Trip the service should get back in line higher staff that know what they’re doing. Also no electric cars. How is that? Realistic, staff Should be retrained. Learn how to use grammar not use. :m ot :h every three minutes it just starts to get annoying Staff are Right knobs also you guys won’t do anything about the reviews. You’ll look at them and go okay but do nothing about it or you’d just say. Join another server if you don’t like this, I’ve worked on dozens of really good servers I actually listen to our reviews
The staff only care about their friends. Its true. When a cop arrested me for no reason (cuff rush and auto jail) the staff member blamed ME for it, and started joking around with their friend about it.
This was honestly one of the worst ERLC servers I’ve ever played on, and I’ve played a lot (over 650 hours). The staff are heavily biased toward their friends and known players.
On my very first session, a SWAT unit ran a red light (with no sirens or lights) and ran me over. When I pointed it out, they called it “insurance fraud” on my part. They then pulled behind me with lights on. I slowed to about 10 MPH, looking for a safe straight stretch to pull over (instead of the curve we were on). Instead of waiting, they grappled me(mind you, I was going 5MPH with 2 wheels on the curb), blocked me in with three vehicles, and escalated what should have been a simple traffic stop.
When I reported the unjustified grapple to staff, the SWAT cuffed me during the mod situation. The moderator told us to continue RP after about 10 minutes, but when I asked if I could be uncuffed so we could resume from the start (in my car, where the stop began), they refused. Instead, they called in a staff friend, and I ended up being kicked.
The whole experience made it clear this server prioritizes staff and their friends over fair roleplay. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, this is shit.
Server mods are a bunch of kids who are on power trips, the think that just because they are a moderator the can budge in and ruin ongoing scenes for no reason. Moderation is petty, giving kicks for small things like auto arresting. And the general roleplay quality is god awful
