🌊 Los Angeles Roleplay Community

The server has awesome roleplays, but. When it comes to moderators handlings scenes, I feel like. They could be doing a better job, except the administrators and higher ups. They are really awesome, I am not saying every moderator is bad, but most of them. Sometimes, I see them handling calls and treating them unfairly. Overall, I rate this a 4 stars, the - 1 star was for the poor moderating that happend.

Good server, although. I think we can do a little bit better on the staff team, but overall. Awesome server to roleplay and gather experience!

Los Angeles Roleplay Community

Hello, I'm RogueRoute, and I'd like to share my recent roleplay experience as a civilian in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, this experience was far from enjoyable due to the actions of a particular police officer who used excessive force against me, which completely pulled me out of the immersion. I was simply going about my day, engaging in regular activities as a law-abiding citizen, when this officer unjustly demanded that I step out of my vehicle. I was taken aback, as I hadn’t done anything to warrant such treatment and was not involved in any criminal activities. In an attempt to clarify the situation, I reached out to a moderator to explain what had happened, hoping they would understand my perspective and intervene. However, my concerns seemed to fall on deaf ears, as the moderator showed little interest in addressing the issues I faced, which further fueled my frustration. It was disheartening to feel dismissed in a space where roleplay should encourage respect and understanding. What compounded my distress was that the police officer, disregarding state laws that clearly state searches should not be conducted unless a suspect is guilty of a crime or has reasonable suspicion of committing one, proceeded to conduct what I felt was an unlawful search. I felt powerless as my character was treated more like a criminal than a civilian, completely disrupting my roleplay experience. The lack of accountability and understanding in that moment not only spoiled my enjoyment but also felt like a violation of the collaborative trust that makes roleplaying so engaging. This situation highlights the need for stricter oversight and protocols within the police department in these roleplay scenarios. Ensuring that officers adhere to the rules and treat all characters—regardless of their role—with fairness is essential to fostering a positive environment where everyone can enjoy the experience. Overall, this encounter was deeply disappointing and highlights the importances.
